Who can participate

Applications to join and participate at the Malta International Aero Model Show is open to all R/C airplane and helicopter flyers.

Appliction Fee

The participation fee is of €50 per flyer which covers the insurance and fuel up to 10ltrs to be used on Saturday and Sunday. Existing members of the two organising clubs have the participation fee incorporated in their annual membership but this does not include the supply of fuel.

Accomodation

In Malta you will find a large number of 4-Star and 5-Star hotels in different localities. However to facilitate transportation and co-ordination of the event, overseas flyers are required to stay at one of two predetermined hotels. Applicants should book at the Park Hotel (www.parkhotel.com.mt) and bookings should be made via email on generalmanager@parkhotel.com.mt and to quote code "MAM".

Travel to Malta by Air

Travel to Malta by Sea

Malta is linked to various important maritime cities within Europe, such as Barcelona, Genoa, Civita Vecchia, Catania etc. For further details please contact Ms. Isabelle Luca Borg at Sullivan Maritime (www.sullivanmaritime.com.mt) who will be pleased to arrange your travel by sea.

All bookings made through the email address passengers@sullivanmaritime.com.mt  at Sullivan Maritime when quoting the code SML/GF will be given a 5% discount on the cost of ticket not including taxes.

Transportation of Your Flying/Static Models

The committee has made arrangements to have a number of drop-off depots where you can deposit your models for onward transportation to the Malta event. All expenses are to be borne by the participants.
